Designsensory — Web Developer Needed

Designsensory is hiring for a new developer position to add to our current team of designers, developers and content creators. This position will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development on new web sites and web applications as well as maintenance of existing sites.

The ideal applicant must possess outstanding talent and be dependable and flexible; the developer will work directly with the principals of our firm and in collaboration with the design and technical teams.

A track record of working on web sites and web applications from concept to completion is essential, as well as excellent communication skills. The ideal applicant is organized, responsible, detail-oriented and highly motivated. Must understand clients' objectives and interpret their feedback.

Minimum Requirements:

• - Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
• - Comfortable in both Mac and PC environments
• - Adobe CS3/4 and hand coding

Preferred Requirements:

• - Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
• - Working knowledge of Linux and Windows server management
• - Experience with ASP/.Net, Ruby, Python, Perl or web frameworks
• - Working knowledge of Flash / AIR
• - One year experience with professional web development
• - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Our interactive division is looking for a strong front-end developer to build rich HTML/CSS and Flash interfaces that leave their mark on the industry. The best person will have great attention to detail, a solid understanding of cross-browser HTML/CSS and a hunger to push the industry. You are:

• Skilled in the black arts of cross browser CSS
• Knowledgeable with ActionScript
• Have serious chops in PhotoShop
• Some After Effects skills... or a lot
